28 Along the paths of Brussels beer
[Food history] [Intangible heritage]
Once in Brussels puts beer in the spotlight as both Belgian and Brussels heritage. During this walk through the historic centre, traces of the city’s brewing past and present appear at every turn. Industrial buildings, street names, cafés, meeting places and hotels open up the story of beer culture: from brewers and their expanding empires to consumers and their habits. The walk works both as an accessible introduction and as a deeper dive, for hop lovers and history enthusiasts alike.
In collaboration with Once in Brussels.
