260 The Woluwe Valley: a river-shaped landscape

Woluwe-Saint-Lambert takes its name from the River Woluwe. This ride follows the valley of this tributary of the Senne, which helped shape the landscape of eastern Brussels. Along the way, discover rural and natural heritage such as Hof ter Musschen — a ten-hectare nature site of high biological value — and the old Lindekemale watermill. The route passes through protected green spaces and by architectural reminders of a vanished landscape: a rural village dotted with watermills along the river. A leisurely ride combining nature, parks, waterways and built heritage.
Bicycle hire is not available for this ride; visitors must bring their own bikes.
