Hidden in a green park in Uccle, the Nekkersgat mill is a watermill whose origins date back to the 14th century, powered by the Geleytsbeek. Successively used as a grain, oil and paper mill, it was saved from demolition by the municipality of Uccle in 1970, when it lay on the planned route of the ring road. It was later listed and restored. Today, under the care of the non-profit organisation Le Moulin du Nekkersgat, it hosts artistic, craft, cultural and social activities. In this setting, Anakrouze, a women’s ensemble singing a cappella polyphonies from around the world, will offer several performances of around 20 minutes, both inside the mill and in its natural surroundings at the heart of the park.
