What traces of Alice Piette can still be felt at the Van Buuren Museum? The house, built by David Van Buuren and Alice Piette in the 1920s, speaks of both presence and absence. David died in 1955, but Alice continued to live there until her death in 1973. Her love of horticulture led her to create new gardens.
How did she reclaim these spaces? What still bears witness to her story today? Through the house, the archives and the gardens, this visit offers a fresh approach to the Van Buuren Museum.
