Walk
205 Urbanising the relief: the rolling valleys of Engeland
[Nature]
This 2.5-hour guided walk in Uccle shows how housing and nature can coexist harmoniously. Starting from the restaurant Le Pigeon Noir, the route explores urban development around rolling relief, while respecting green areas and streams. The walk crosses the Kauwberg and Kinsendael nature reserves, true green lungs integrated into the residential fabric. Through small stories and local anecdotes, it reveals a distinctive landscape where the relief guides urbanisation. A unique opportunity to understand how gentle valleys can be preserved within the city.
In collaboration with Le Tamanoir.
