Embassy of Kazakhstan (fully booked)

Named after a prominent Uccle/Ukkel notary, landowner and property magnate, Avenue Van Bever/Van Beverlaan connects Chaussée de Waterloo/Waterloosesteenweg to the Sonian Forest. On the corner of Drève de Lorraine/Lorrainedreef stands an impressive residence in the picturesque style, now occupied by the Embassy of Kazakhstan. This architecturally striking building featuring yellow brick and blue limestone, with red-brick stringcourses, includes two bow windows at the front, either side of a grand canopied entrance. Timber frames adorn the gables and the many dormer windows. The property is surrounded by a huge park.

As well as sampling local delicacies, visitors to the Embassy will be able to enjoy a photographic exhibition showcasing the historical, cultural and natural heritage of a country that remains unfamiliar to many. Culinary tasting and discovery of Kazakhstan immaterial heritage.

Entrance to the embassy on reservation only. Groups of max 30 people.
