A landscape is not a still life; it is nature alive. And so, it speaks. It whispers a different story into every ear, awakens a different emotion in every heart. It does not speak with words, but when we write, we can translate its voice.
At the Domaine Allard, you find yourself in an old garden, in an old manor house, in a world filled with memories. There are the trees, the bricks, the fox. What do they tell us?
Victoria and Balthazar, a cellist and a saxophonist, enjoy improvising music in public spaces, playing as if in dialogue. During this activity, they invite you to write in response to the question: what does the landscape tell you? Afterwards, you will be free either to read your text aloud with musical accompaniment, or to place it in a hat. One text will then be drawn at random and read by the artists. A microphone will be available.
