Avenue Brugmann / Brugmannlaan: Art Nouveau for a new neighbourhood (fully booked)
Upmarket, residential Avenue Brugmann/Brugmannlaan and the surrounding area were developed mainly from 1880 onwards. While most of its mansions and town houses are eclectic in style, Art Nouveau is also very much in evidence, with remarkable designs by Horta and Vizzavona, as well as Pelseneer and Blerot, who had their homes or studios here...
The tour will end at La Ferme Rose, which will be hosting a talk entitled New perspectives on Art Nouveau, starting at around 16:00.
In cooperation with the Culture Department of the Municipality of Uccle/Ukkel and Brussels Chatterguides.
