The Terdelt garden city is being highlighted through an exhibition and a family-friendly treasure hunt. On the occasion of its centenary, this activity invites visitors to discover the history of this emblematic neighbourhood, designed as a “village within the city”: its inauguration, school, shops and transport, as well as its social role, particularly through the work of the Foyer Schaerbeekois, and its landscape dimension linked to the urban planning principles of garden cities.

The exhibition will present archival photographs collected by the neighbourhood committee in recent months, along with testimonies from residents. The treasure hunt is self-guided: each small group can start whenever it wishes and explore the neighbourhood at its own pace. Mainly intended for small groups, especially families, it lasts around 1 hour and 30 minutes.
