Built on the site of the Universal Exhibition of 1910, the Solbosh Campus of the Université Libre de Bruxelles/Vrije Universiteit Brussel was built as of the 1920. The campus, financed by the American government in the post-war context, occupies 12 hectares. The Embassy of the Czech Republic is set in a modern white-brick building on Avenue Adolphe Buyl/Adolphe Buyllaan. Its ground-floor gallery on n° 150 avenue Buyl will host an exhibition of photographs by architect Zdeněk Lukeš and photograph Pavel Hroch, showcasing Prague's extraordinary Art Nouveau and Art Deco façades.
