Avenue de Tervueren was designed to link the two sites of the 1897 World’s Fair: the Cinquantenaire Park and Tervuren Park, which hosted the colonial section. Planned from the outset to carry visitors from Brussels to Tervuren, the tram fits perfectly into the development of this monumental landscape axis. Taking it makes the different sections of the avenue easy to read. The route preserves a rich and varied heritage, from the Stoclet Palace to the former tram depot, now the Tram Museum, and crosses remarkable sites such as the cathedral-like edge of the Sonian Forest and the beautiful Woluwe Park. The visit ends in Tervuren Park.
The visit will be accompanied by a transmitter-receiver system so participants can follow the guide’s commentary on board the tram.
Participants must provide a valid STIB transport ticket.
