Through a fictional dialogue between Henry van de Velde and Anna Boch (guides in period costume), visitors will learn what the Mont des Arts/Kunstberg used to be like at the time when the Old England department store (now the Musical Instruments Museum) was being built.

During the walk, the conversation will focus on the group of 20 Belgian painters, designers and sculptors known as Les XX, the libertarian ideology that inspired them, and how they believed that art could lead humanity away from utilitarianism towards a certain political and even spiritual awareness.
