Walk
115 The Senne draws a green line through the city
[Nature]
The winding and surprising route of the Senne Park refers back to an older urban landscape. Although the water itself has disappeared locally, the course of the Senne left lasting parcel structures. However dense the development became, and however many other layers were added over that of the river, it remained quietly present. The creation of the linear park revalorises this route and restores a public character to this fragment of the city.
In collaboration with BALA – Belgian Association of Landscape Architects.
