Programme
Walk
59 The hanging gardens of Brussels
[Nature]
This walk follows three terraced parks offering panoramic views over the city, each shaped by a different landscape design approach — classical, modernist or contemporary — along a 2 km route: the garden of the Cité administrative, the Botanical Garden and Reine-Verte Park. It allows visitors to compare these three green spaces and the windows they open onto the city, to understand the evolution of landscape architecture from the 19th to the 21st century, and to discover these places, especially Reine Verte Park, which is enclosed and not visible from the street.
In collaboration with the Association des Amis de l'Unesco.
