More than a simple railway line, the North-South connection is the great project that reshaped Brussels in the 20th century. Once in Brussels follows this steel thread above the city centre. Between the traces of vanished working-class neighbourhoods and the monumental ambition of the post-war period, the walk reveals how this “open-air tunnel” created new urban panoramas. A true reading of the city through its voids, modernist architecture and rediscovered perspectives.
