[Neighbourhoods]

This family-friendly guided walk of 1.8 km in the heart of the Squares Quarter immerses participants in the elegance of 1900. Welcomed by a guide in period costume, they explore an urban landscape where Art Nouveau and eclecticism combine to create an exceptional living environment. The loop begins at Square Ambiorix 1, a true landscape marker through its relief and monumental perspectives towards the Saint-Cyr House and the water gardens.
During the walk, families discover how Belle Époque architects shaped everyday landscapes by integrating art into façades and green spaces. Historic photographs help compare the evolution of this material heritage and understand the legacy of a district conceived as a total work of art. A historical immersion designed to make children and adults aware of the richness of Brussels’ landscapes.

In collaboration with Le Tamanoir.
