Unusual Art Nouveau around Place Bockstael / Bockstaelplein

Séverin Malaud © urban.brussels

The streets around Place Emile Bockstael/Emile Bockstaelplein in Laeken/Laken are rich in architectural heritage. This is particularly true of Avenue Richard Neybergh/Richard Neyberghlaan, where Art Nouveau takes on an unusual form. Sometimes eclectic, sometimes picturesque, many of the façades were prize-winning designs in competitions organised by the Municipality of Laeken/Laken in the early 20th century. Join us to explore them on this guided walking tour through the beating heart of Laeken/Laken.

In cooperation with Laeken Découverte/Laken Onthuld.
