Walk
144 Laeken Park, an “English style” landscape park
Nature
Laeken Park is probably the most English of Brussels’ parks. This walk reveals the treasures of this green heritage and its finest landscape perspectives: the legendary Sainte-Anne fountain, the Stuyvenberg estate, the Royal Castle of Laeken and the Monument to the Dynasty, erected in honour of Leopold I. For this flamboyant neo-Gothic memorial, architect Louis De Curte drew inspiration from London’s Albert Memorial. From this high point in Laeken Park, a remarkable panorama of Brussels opens up.
In collaboration with Laeken Découverte ASBL / Laken Onthuld VZW.
