174 The Land of Neerpede through its different actors

[Rural] [Social spaces]

On 19 September, the Maison Verte et Bleue is organising an open discovery day in the Pays de Neerpede, in direct dialogue with the theme “Our landscape, our heritage”. A central actor in this exceptional Brussels landscape, the Maison Verte et Bleue connects the different people and initiatives that shape and bring the territory to life.
The public is invited to discover farmers, market-gardening initiatives, natural areas, sports and leisure sites, walking routes and ponds. This mosaic of functions, professions and uses shows how a living landscape is composed. The activity links natural, social and everyday heritage, and shows how human presence and care for the place have helped build this landscape over time. The Pays de Neerpede appears both as a shared heritage and as a landscape in motion.

In collaboration with la Maison Verte et Bleue and the Tourism Department of the Municipality of Anderlecht.

La Maison Verte et Bleue works to enhance the exceptional Neerpede site. In this respect, the non-profit organisation forms a kind of triangle between the association itself, the Tourism Department of the municipality of Anderlecht and the Brussels Region through Brussels Environment, with the shared ambition of strengthening, revealing and helping people discover this unique landscape.
