Meet in front of La Fourmilière in Anderlecht, a cultural café where art, culture and conviviality come together, for an activity that will cover a concrete border approximately 40 cm high and 6 m long around a tree in front of the establishment with mosaics. This low wall also serves as a seat for children and passers-by. Located in the heart of the municipality’s historic centre, the design features ants in reference to the venue’s name, a saying by Erasmus and Erasmus himself, echoing the Erasmus House directly opposite, as well as the nearby Beguinage and rue Porcelaine.

Taking place in public space, this activity highlights cultural heritage and decorates a piece of urban furniture where passers-by can even sit and rest… A tree, a bench, a street… It is intended for both teenagers and adults. Children can also try their hand at mosaic art using simple, adapted designs.
