Discovering Art Deco in Woluwe-Saint-Pierre
The municipality of Woluwe-Saint-Pierre boasts some remarkable examples of Brussels’ architectural heritage. In addition to the Palais Stoclet, often seen as a precursor to the emergence of the Art Deco style, the municipality was also a testing ground for renowned architects (Adrien and Yvan Blomme, Jean de Ligne, Huib Hoste, Emile Goffay).
In particular, this walk will take you to the Saint-Michel district, with its many hidden treasures. In the company of municipal historian Clémy Temmerman, take a trip back in time to discover the emblematic facades of the 1920s and 1930s.
With the support of the Municipality of Woluwe-Saint-Pierre.
