Louvain-en-Woluwe

In the wake of May 1968, medical students at UCLouvain demanded to have a big say in the construction of student accommodation on campus. Their chosen architect, Lucien Kroll, developed an almost vernacular architecture, working in close collaboration with the students and site workers. Dating from 1970 to 1976, the result is now a protected heritage site at the heart of an ever-changing campus.

In cooperation with the Municipality of Woluwe-Saint-Lambert/Sint-Lambrechts-Woluwe.
