From Boulevard Albert II to Gare du Nord

Boulevard du Roi Albert II/Koning Albert II-laan is a shining example of 1990s architecture. Join us as we explore the bold designs of this pivotal decade, where modernist lines blend with a futuristic vision. Discover the transformation of this avenue into an icon of contemporary urban planning. We will also draw your attention to the gardens in the middle of the boulevard which were developed between 1995 and 1997 to a blueprint by landscape architect Jacques Wirtz. These are punctuated by a number of monumental artworks, including one by well-known Belgian artist Pol Bury!

In cooperation with Arkadia.
