Through two exhibitions, the collective Citizen Designers and the non-profit organisation Carré & Co invite you to discover the emotional and committed journey of a group of residents seeking to reclaim their neighbourhood around Gare de l’Ouest/Weststation(/Bruxelles-Ouest/Brussel-West) station and Beekkant (as part of the Gare de l’Ouest/Weststation neighbourhood contract).

An indoor exhibition will retrace the journey of the mixed collective ‘Citizen Designers’ (children and adults, people with disabilities, etc.) in their efforts to help build the city of tomorrow. Personal accounts, documentaries, photographs, sketches and drawings, installations and the presentation of building techniques will create a dialogue between the legacy of the past – in particular the architectural heritage of the 1970s to 2000s – and citizens’ visions for the future.
