This fascinating talk will provide a behind-the-scenes insight into the civil engineering works shaping the urban landscape around Bruxelles-Schuman/Brussel-Schuman station. The speaker, François Lapy, an engineer at TUC RAIL and lecturer in civil engineering at ECAM, will take you on a journey into the heart of the Belgian capital’s rail infrastructure.
He will share his civil engineering expertise and experience, focusing on TUC RAIL’s work on the Josaphat Tunnel at the exit of Bruxelles-Schuman/Brussel-Schuman station. He will clearly set out the technical challenges, innovations and ingenious solutions to ensure the proper functioning and safety of railway infrastructure in this dynamic urban environment.
