North-South Junction: “from one station to another”
Line 0 Bruxelles-Midi/Brussel-Zuid – Bruxelles-Nord/Brussel-Noord (also known as the North-South connection) is a railway line of national and international importance which cuts right through Brussels city centre (partly in a tunnel), connecting the city’s North and South stations.
However, much more than just a link between two stations, it is also the story of a radical urban transformation that left its mark on the collective memory and established a new urban landscape in the heart of the city.
On this walk we’ll explore two stations: one a major transport hub, the other now completely forgotten.
In cooperation with Once in Brussels.
