LAB·AN, Hotel van Eetvelde & Jean Delhaye exhibition

© LAB.AN

The LAB·AN, founded for the Art Nouveau year 2023, is a space for the promotion of Art Nouveau that takes a contemporary look at this Belgian, Brussels and international heritage and all the themes it encompasses. It is located in the van Eetvelde building, one of Victor Horta’s most beautiful creations, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

During the Heritage Days, visitors will have access to the Hôtel van Eetvelde and its bel étage, Edmond van Eetvelde’s office and the LAB·AN exhibition spaces, which feature an exhibition chronicling the career of Jean Delhaye, not only a restorer and Victor Horta enthusiast but also a little-known modernist architect. Delhaye is also the former owner of the extension to the Hôtel van Eetvelde, the building occupied by the LAB·AN today.

Exhibition in French and Dutch.
Photography is allowed inside the buildings but only with a smartphone; no flash photography is permitted.
