Guided tour

Jules François Crahay. Back in the spotlight

© detiffe.com

The Fashion and Lace Museum is hosting the first exhibition devoted to Jules François Crahay. Born in Liège, this forgotten couturier was a leading figure in the Paris fashion scene in the second half of the 20th century. He created designs for the fashion houses Nina Ricci and Lanvin, garnering such praise that the press even compared him to Christian Dior. Claudia Cardinale, Princess (later Queen) Paola of Belgium and Jackie Kennedy were also admirers and wore his creations. This guided tour will take you on a journey through half a century of fashion history.
