As part of Belgian Hip-Hop Legacy, Melodiggerz is running an exhibition giving visitors the chance to discover a selection of 60 major Belgian hip-hop records from 1990 to 2020.
Visitors can use record-cover recognition in a new app to listen to the records on their phone. The exhibition will be accompanied by printed and video archives for the relevant theme.
The exhibition will take place at BXL CENTRAL [CHEZ PIAS], one of the biggest record shops in Belgium, a paradise for ‘diggerz’ and music lovers that is just a stone’s throw from Bruxelles-Central/Brussel-Centraal station and Grand-Place/Grote Markt.
DJ sets will be organised with Belgian DJs/producers, with the mixes made up entirely of Belgian hip-hop. Guided tours will be organised with Belgian hip-hop legends, key players and an industry expert.
