Art Deco and Art Nouveau: Convergence and Divergence

© LAB·AN | | ARCHistory/APEB

The major artistic movements of the early 20th century, Art Nouveau and Art Deco, although stylistically opposed in appearance, both reflected their era and had a profound influence on modern art. What do they have in common, and how can they be differentiated? This LAB·AN exhibition goes back to basics and presents these two artistic movements through the prism of heritage, both real estate and furniture.

The exhibition is in French, Dutch and English.
