David Serati © urban.brussels

Founded in 1928, UCB is a Belgian biopharmaceutical company whose main activities are the research, development and marketing of pharmaceutical and biotechnological products. It is active in nearly 40 countries. Its global headquarters in Anderlecht were built in the late 1990s by the architectural firm Assar, founded by architect Eric Ysebrant de Lendonck. With its resolutely modern design, the 22,000-m² building reflects UCB’s values of innovation. The semicircular structure features a central atrium framed by two monumental staircases. The tour will also take in the new facilities added in 2022, which incorporate UCB’s new ways of working.
