Parc de Wolvendael/Wolvendaelpark – history, nature and heritage in the heart of Uccle/Ukkel (fully booked)
Formerly a country estate where wealthy Brussels families came to spend the summer months, Parc de Wolvendael/Wolvendaelpark in Uccle/Ukkel is one of the biggest public parks in the Brussels metropolitan area. On this walk you will explore this multifaceted green space, where history, nature and heritage meet and blend. Taking in both familiar and less familiar corners of the park, the tour will also feature traditional a cappella songs from the choir Anakrouze, inviting you to travel well beyond the confines of this former estate.
In cooperation with Ucclensia, Cercle d’histoire, d’archéologie et de folklore d’Uccle/Geschied- en Heemkundige Kring van Ukkel and the Municipality of Uccle/Ukkel.
