Botanique/Kruidtuin and its surrounding area (fully booked)
The Botanique/Kruidtuin gardens and orangery began to take shape from 1826 onwards. This green oasis in the municipality of Saint-Josse-ten-Noode/Sint-Joost-ten-Node is surrounded by tower blocks dating from the 1970s, when Brussels was seeking to create a futuristic and functional business district similar to that of New York. The area has seen many changes over the years. In the latest of these, the former IBM Tower now called Victoria, will be converted into a hotel/restaurant and coworking space, and plans are also afoot to potentially turn the Gesù Church into a covered market. Come and explore the rich history of this part of the city, moulded by constant transformations and by the diversity of its people.
In cooperation with Arkadia.
