Hungarian Ambassador’s Residence (fully booked)
This elegant Beaux-Arts town house was built in 1926 by architects Dufas-Martin, as indicated above the garage entrance. It originally included an annexe on the left, which was demolished to make way for an apartment building erected in 1979. The brick façade is richly embellished with white stone, particularly on the fluted entablature and the dentil cornice. There is toothed framing (alternate projecting and receding stones) around the windows, which are topped by curved pediments with cartouches. The building now serves as the residence of the Hungarian Ambassador to Belgium.
Guided tours of the building on reservation only.
