Plunging into the heart of Ethiopian culture
Wicked Pigeon and the Collectif Resto Bar are joining forces with urban.brussels to put the spotlight on Brussels' gastronomic and culinary heritage. In a unique setting in Brussels that will transport you to the heart of Ethiopia, you will discover a warm and exotic atmosphere made up of exclusive objects brought back from trips to the country by Haile Abebe, the founder and initiator of this Ethiopian impulse in the capital. You will be offered typical Ethiopian dishes, based on the injera (tef pancakes), which are used as both a plate and a cutlery. To make the immersion complete, you are asked to share a plate per table, which encourages a mix of dishes and flavours. You only need to spend a short time there to understand that exchange, sharing and conviviality are the keywords of this restaurant. During Heritage Days, they offer a Welcome Cocktail for any reservation.
